Sah Bum Nim (title rank of Master) Andrew Farley has been teaching Taekwondo to students of all ages for 22 years. Born in Hanford, CA. on April 30th, 1978 and later moving to Visalia, Sah Bum Nim Farley started training in Taekwondo with Grand Master Tong Su Yu in 1991.
This is where Andrew Farley learned the values of Discipline, self-respect, 100% effort, honesty and setting goals through the teachings of Grand Master Tong Su Yu.
His passion for training and competing in taekwondo led to the opportunity of becoming an instructor alongside his teacher.
In 1997, Grand Master Tong Su Yu passed away of cancer leaving his school to 4 of his black belt instructors. Andrew Farley, the youngest at the time, at the loss of his mentor quickly began to learn all aspects of running a school.
From there these 4 instructors, under the guidance of Grand Master Han of Bakersfield (Grand Master Yu’s close friend) opened Olympic Taekwondo of Visalia. Andrew Farley taught for Olympic Taekwondo as a head instructor 6 years.
In June 2001, Andrew Farley ventured out to open his own dojang (school) Farley’s Taekwondo Center where to this day he still teaches students as young as 3 and up. Andrew Farley has taught thousands of students instilling in them the values of which his teacher has taught him.
Farley’s Taekwondo Center is the longest running taekwondo program in Tulare County with student numbers of over 150 students. They are growing each and every day. His students continue to train because they know it is the best value of taekwondo self-defense training in Tulare County..
Master Farley is now a welcomed qualified affiliate of the US Tae Kwon Do Han Moo Kwan association.
